Obituary
Bob was the 6th child born to Pearl Elwood & Lulu Sutherland Posegate on the Posegate farm in Grant Twp., 1 1/2 miles west of Shipley. His siblings were Russell, Dorothy (Kirk), Bernard, Thelma (Christensen),and Lowell, all preceding Bob in death. Graduated from Shipley Consolidated School in 1941. Married Wilma Lemonds Dec 24, 1944 at the Lutheran Church in Nevada, Story Co., Iowa. This produced 3 children, Sherry Ann Posegate(Tom)Babicky, Diane Sue Posegate(John) Valline, and Chuck Lee (Jody Samson)Posegate. Having 10 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren at his passing.
